I highly recommend coming to enjoy Afternoon Tea at The Montage Hotel, Beverly Hills (noon-4pm Friday-Sunday). If you have yet to visit the Montage Hotel this would be a perfect opportunity to visit their Parq Bar & Lounge, while taking in the view of the Beverly Canon Gardens for tea in the afternoon. Together, with great friends we enjoyed the delicious tea, champagne, traditional tea sandwiches, scones and petite desserts.
Highlights:
I ordered the Royal Tea with Veuve Clicquot Sparkiling Wine ($65). In addition to the Veuve Clicquot Champagne I chose the Golden Tower Tea, which was a lighter black tea. Of all of the tea sandwiches I really loved the cucumber sandwiches. But of all the “eats” I loved the scones, especially with the lemon curd spread. I really could have eaten them all and some! The Pastries (petite desserts) all looked delicious but I didn’t get to eat much after eating the scones. :). I did try the chocolate mouses cake and loved it as well. I tend to love anything that has chocolate mousse or ganache.
If you are interested in Tea with your Beau then not to worry they offer a more masculine style of afternoon tea with their “Gentleman’s Tea.” The “Gentleman’s Tea” includes scotch, sliders, pie & cake. I actually hope to return to try it for myself soon.
